INFORMATION

​

  • $250 prize pool and Evil Eye merch will be awarded to the winning team.

  • The tournament is free entry but everyone on the team must join our discord and follow us on twitch, twitter, and instagram. https://linktr.ee/evileyeesports

  • The first 8 teams that sign up will be able to compete in the tournament.

  • The first 4 qualifying rounds will be played on Friday the 16th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm EST. Semi-finals will be Saturday the 17th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm EST. Finals will be Saturday the 17th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm EST and will consist of 3 matches.

  • Upon team signup one member on the playing team must be specified as the team captain.  The captain is responsible for all communications with tournament officials to and from the team.

  • Team captains will be added to a private text channel in Evil Eye Esport's discord to receive announcements and information regarding the tournament.

  • Only full teams can enter but if we are unable to fill all 8 slots we will open entry to incomplete teams and individuals.

  • A team roster comprises of the original players that entered into the tournament.  If any changes need to be made to the roster it must be done before the tournament day and it must be approved by tournament officials beforehand.

  • One person on the team must stream the tournament with the title set to "Evil Eye Esports Tournament."

  • Anyone streaming the tournament must stream with at least a 2 minute delay.

RULES

  • All teams and members must hold themselves to the highest standards of personal integrity and sportsmanship at all times.  All members must act professionally to tournament officials and other players.  This includes and is not limited to live stream events and on the discord.

  • Players may not play on multiple teams during the tournament.  If a player is part of multiple playing teams then they will be required to choose a singular team.

  • Match fixing is forbidden.  Any members who are asked to do such action must report it immediately to tournament officials.

  • No Team Member may offer any gift, cash, or other reward to a player, coach,manager, other team member, competition official, or any other person connected with or employed by another Team in order to influence the outcome of a game in an official competition.

  • Gambling on the outcome of a tournament, match or game in any esport competition (including any plays or components of a game) can destroy the integrity of a tournament. Team members are not allowed to (a) place, or attempt to place, bets on any esports competition (or any plays or components thereof), or (b) associate with high volume gamblers, or deliver information to others that might influence their bets.

  • Cheating is prohibited. Any modification of the VALORANT game client by a team or team member is prohibited. The use of any kind of cheating device or cheat program shall be deemed cheating.

  • Intentionally using any in-game bug to seek an advantage is exploiting and is prohibited. Exploiting includes acts such as making use of any game function that, in the tournament official’s sole judgement, is not functioning as intended and violates the design purpose of VALORANT. Team members may confidentially check with the referee at the beginning of a Competition to determine if a specific act would be considered exploiting. Evil Eye reserves the right to make an ex-post-facto determination of whether an exploit has occurred.

  • Account sharing of any kind is prohibited.

  • Team members may not refuse to comply with instructions or decisions from tournament officials and staff.

  • Failure to comply with any rules set above or decisions from tournament officials may bring forth disciplinary action including and not limited to team disqualification.

  • All rules are subject to change, players will be informed of any rule changes or additions if rules are changed during an active tournament or event.
